Ambulance Association

The Pittston Township Ambulance Association, centrally located in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre metropolitan corridor of Luzerne County, Northeastern PA, is a community non-profit Emergency Medical Service (EMS) serving a residential population of approx. 3,500 and an estimated transient population of 70 to 80 thousand persons daily. The coverage area is 17 sq. miles and contains four major highways (PA Highway Rt. 315, US Rt. 11, I-81 and I-476 Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike), three growing industrial parks, the Wilkes- Barre/Scranton International Airport, a Juvenile Detention Center, and two rapidly expanding retail districts.
